We are excited to share with you the latest feature from Microsoft Teams – the Tasks by Planner and To Do app. This feature has been designed to help you better manage and prioritize your workflows by consolidating your task lists. It enables you to sort tasks by priority level and due date, making it easier to keep track of your progress throughout the day.
With the My Day view, you can also mark tasks as completed, helping you declutter your workspace and providing a sense of accomplishment as you go through your to-do list. We believe that this feature can make a significant difference in your daily productivity and overall well-being.
To access the My Day view in the ‘Tasks by Planner and To Do’ App for Microsoft Teams, follow these steps:
- Launch Microsoft Teams and navigate to the sidebar, and click the Apps tab.
- Use the search bar to find and install the Tasks by Planner and To Do app.
- Pin the app in the left navigation bar in Microsoft Teams by right-clicking on the app and selecting the Pin option.
- Access the My Day view in the left-hand panel.
Here are some examples of when you can use My Day view:
- Starting your day: You can use the feature to quickly review and prioritize your tasks for the day ahead. By consolidating your task lists, you can have a clearer idea of what needs to be done and when.
- Midday check-in: As you progress through your tasks, you can use the My Day view to track your progress and adjust your priorities accordingly. You can also mark tasks as completed, giving you a sense of accomplishment and helping you stay motivated.
- End of day wrap-up: At the end of the day, you can use the My Day view to review your progress and plan for the following day. You can mark any remaining tasks as completed or move them to the next day’s list.
